The City of Madisonville’s Animal Control Officer works with compassion and understanding.
Animal Services are available to the citizens of the City of Madisonville.  We are located at the Madisonville Police Department, 210 West Cottonwood, Madisonville, TX 77864. 936-348-3317 Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.  TO REPORT URGENT ISSUES, please call 936-348-3317, and speak with an officer.   In case of emergency, dial 9-1-1. 
What does Animal Services offer? Pick up stray animals Reunite owners with lost animals Care for sick or injured animals Take in owner surrenders Investigate animal bites Investigate animal cruelty Provide education Promote animal retention Offer adoption services through local services No animals taken from outside of the City limits Owner Surrender Fee:  $  30.00 per animal (cat/dog)                                           $100.00 per large animal (Horse) Useful Tips Get Help from Animal Services Barking dogs and stray animals can be very disruptive to a neighborhood.  Animal Services can help with a number of animal problems including barking dogs, animal rescues, animal cruelty, stray cats and dog bites.  Call 936-348-3317 Bond your pet out of the pound: First Time: $30.00 / Second Time: $50.00 / Third Time: $100.00 Plus:  $5.00 per day boarding fee           I
Animal Ordinance Read our Animal Control Ordinance which gives all the information pet owners need to know regarding dogs, cats, stray animals, vaccinations, limitation of number of animals and penalties for violators.  Chapter 6  of the City’s Code of Ordinances contains regulations about all types of animals in Madisonville. Animal Services and Wildlife Wildlife is a national occurrence, event within the city limits.  You will often find them in your backyard, under your car, in your outside trash; however, Animal Services does not interfere with wildlife unless they are ill, dead or have injured a human or animal.
