(A.) Consideration and possible action to approve an amended Ordinance authorizing and approving publication of notice of intention to issue City of Madisonville, Texas Tax & Revenue Certificates of Obligation, series 2018 (The “Certificates”) in a maximum principal amount not to exceed $1,750,000; authorizing the Mayor, City Manager, City Clerk, City Staff, City Financial Advisers, Legal counsel and Bond Counsel to take all actions deemed necessary in connection with the issuance and sale of such certificates; and providing an effective date.
CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION: for possible action resulting from items discussed in executive session.
The City Council for the City of Madisonville reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this
meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney) 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development.)
