The Madisonville City Council met in a Special called meeting on March 22, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. at 210 W. Cottonwood, Madisonville, Texas

Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.
Meeting called to order with the following members present:
William (Bill) Parten-Mayor
Russell Bailey-Mayor Pro tem
Chris McGilbra-Council Member
Jerry Harper-Council Member
Lois Brown-Council Member
Dale Kovacs-Council Member
Rosa Barrera-City Secretary
Camilla Viator- City Manager

I. Mayor William (Bill) Parten called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
II. Invocation was given by Council member Jerry Harper
III. Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey led the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag with City Council and staff members.
IV. Visitors Forum-none
V. CONSENT AGENDA

(A.) Discuss and Possible approve the emergency designation for work performed on
Water Well # 4
Kevin Story mentioned to the Council that he had to shut down well #4 due to Production issues. After doing more research, Kevin asked for City Council to declare an emergency for a new Water Well #4. Council member Dale Kovacs approves the emergency designation for work performed on Water Well #4. Seconded by Council member Lois Brown with each Council member voting AYE motion carried
(B.) Discuss and possible approval on a Resolution 92-2018 authorizing Application for a justice assistance Grant
Council member Lois Brown moved to approve on a Resolution 92-2018 authorizing application for a justice assistance grant. Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey with each Council member voting AYE motion carried
(C.) Discuss and possible action concerning signatures for Bank Accounts in regard to the Certificates of obligation
Signatures for the new accounts would be Mayor Parten, Council member McGilbra, Council member Brown and City Manager Viator. Motion was made by Council member Jerry Harper concerning signatures for Bank Accounts in regard to the Certificates of
Obligation. Seconded by Council member Dale Kovacs with each Council member voting AYE motion carried.

Council member Lois Brown adjourn the meeting at 6:14 p.m. Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey with each Council member voting AYE motion carried ATTEST:
