MINUTES

The Madisonville City Council met in a Special called meeting Workshop on July 20, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at 210 W. Cottonwood, Madisonville, Texas

Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Meeting called to order with the following members present:
William (Bill) Parten-Mayor
Russell Bailey-Mayor Pro tem
Chris McGilbra-Council Member
Brady Taylor-Council Member
Lois Brown-Council Member
Jessie Jaenicke-Council Member
Camilla Viator- City Manager
Krystal Carroll-Finance Director

I.  Mayor William (Bill) Parten called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

II. Invocation was given by Councilmember Brady Taylor

III. Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey led the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag with City Council and staff members

IV. Visitors Forum-no one

V. CONSENT AGENDA

(A.) Discuss and possible approval of Resolution #113-2020 the Federal Highway Bridge Rehabilitation and Replacement Program by the Texas Department of Transportation (the State).

        Councilmember Chris McGilbra moved to approve of Resolution #113-2020 the Federal Highway Bridge Rehabilitation and Replacement Program byTxDOT. Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey with each  Councilmember voting AYE motion carried.

(B.) Discuss and possible approval of Resolution #114-2020  authorizing the  selection of a professional service provider for the Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT).

       Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey moved to approve of Resolution 114-2020  authorizing the selection of KSA as a professional service provider for the     Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT). Seconded by  Councilmember Lois Brown with each Councilmember voting AYE motion   Carried.

(C.) Budget (Workshop)

  • Enterprise Fund
  • HOT Fund

           City Council briefly went over the Enterprise Fund and the HOT Fund.

           Discussion only.

VI. Adjournment

       The meeting was adjourned by Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey at 7:10 p.m. Seconded by Councilmember Chris McGilbra all voted AYE
