CITY COUNCIL HOLD AN EMERGANCY MEETING                                     

Meeting February 19 2021 AT 11:00 A.M.

MINUTES

The Madisonville City Council met in a Emergancy meeting on February 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. via telephone conference call as an emergency.

Meeting called to order at 11:00a.m.

Meeting called to order with the following members present:

William (Bill) Parten-Mayor
Russell Bailey-Mayor Pro Tem
Chris McGilbra-Council Member
Brady Taylor-Council Member
Lois Brown-Council Member
Jessie Jaenicke-Council Member
Camilla Viator- City Manager
Art Rodriguez-City Attorney

I.       Mayor William (Bill) Parten called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m.

II.        Invocation was given by Councilmember Chris McGilbra

III.       Visitors Forum-none

IV.        Consent Agenda

  • Consider and possible approval to extend the Disaster Declaration of February 13 for 30 more days.

Councilmember Chris McGilbra moved to approve to extend the Disaster Declaration of February 13 for 30 more days. Seconded by Councilmember Lois Brown. With each Councilmember voting AYE motion carried.

CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION: for possible action resulting from items discussed in executive session.

     The City Council for the City of Madisonville reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney) 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development.)      

VI. ADJOURNMENT  

       Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey moved to adjourn the meeting at 11:04 a.m. Seconded by Councilmember Jessie Jaenicke with each Councilmember voting AYE motion carried
