Annual Madisonville Texas Mushroom Festival

The Annual Madisonville Texas Mushroom Festival will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021..

On Saturday, start the festival off with the Shiitake 5K Walk/Run on the downtown square at 8:30 AM.  There is chipped timing for accurate finishing times.  Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in each age group.  There is also an one overall award to the top male and female runner.  The kid’s mile race will start at 9:15 AM.  Award ceremonies will begin at 9:45 AM with the Opening Ceremony of the Festival.

The festival is all about community, family, friends and entertainment.

Some highlights of what you can expect….  Food, arts, and craft vendors; kids activity area, mushrooms – for purchase and fajitas for eating.  Quilt, Art & Photo display.  Wine Tent & Biergarten showcasing the finest Texas Craft Beers and Wines.  (Admission is charged for the Wine Tent & Biergarten.)  Live entertainment can be found on stages throughout the event.
