I. Mayor William (Bill) Parten called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.
II. Invocation was given by Harry Davis
III. Chief Gilbert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag with City Council and staff members.

V. CONSENT AGENDA
(A. ) Discuss and consider The City of Madionville protocol concerning the rapidly changing events in our community concerning COVID-19.
City Manager explains the protocol concerning the rapidly changing events in our community concerning COVID-19.
Councilmember Jessie Jaenicke moved to authorize the Mayor to adopt a Resolution concerning COVID-19. Seconded by Councilmember Lois Brown. All voting AYE motion carried.
(B.) Extension of the Emergency disaster declaration for the City of Madisonville
Motion was made by Councilmember Jessie Jaenicke. Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey. All voting AYE motion carried
CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION: for possible action resulting from items discussed in executive session. The City Council for the City of Madisonville reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney) 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development.)

Councilmember Lois Brown adjourn the meeting at 6:06 p.m. Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey with each Councilmember voting AYE motion carried
