The City of Madisonville has adopted new policies and procedures for Plan Review and Permit Applications. Please allow for up to fourteen days for Plan Review for New Construction and Large Remodel/Renovation projects.
Fillable permit applications, along with submittal requirements, are provided for your convenience on the left side of the page. Completely fill out and sign the application, as well as and return to the contact provided on the permit application. If you should have any questions, please use the contact information provided on the permit.
Only the homeowner or a licensed and insured contractor may apply for a building permit.
*NOTE: For rental real estate, a licensed and insured contractor must apply for and complete the work for any electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or work that expands the living space of the residence.

All permits require a Final Inspection at a minimum. Inspections are performed from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Typically, inspections are performed the following business day.
