MINUTES

The Madisonville City Council met in a Special called meeting Workshop on August 3, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. at 210 W. Cottonwood, Madisonville, Texas

Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Meeting called to order with the following members present:
William (Bill) Parten-Mayor
Russell Bailey-Mayor Pro tem
Chris McGilbra-Council Member
Brady Taylor-Council Member
Lois Brown-Council Member
Jessie Jaenicke-Council Member
Camilla Viator- City Manager
Krystal Carroll-Finance Director

I.  Mayor William (Bill) Parten called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

II. Invocation was given by Councilmember Brady Taylor

III. Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey led the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag with City Council and staff members

IV. Visitors Forum-no one

V. CONSENT AGENDA

(A.) Discuss and possible approval  of exteding the depository Bank contract

        Councilmember Chris McGilbra move to table this item. Seconded by     Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey with each Councilmember voting AYE motion Carried.

(B.) Submission and acceptance of no-new revenue and voter-approval tax rates.

       Mayor Pro Tem Russell Bailey move the acceptance of no-new revenue and voter-approval tax. Seconded by Councilmember Lois Brown with each  Councilmember voting AYE motion carried.

(C.) Budget (Workshop)

• City Council and staff went over in detail the entire budget.

VI. Adjournment

       Mayor  Pro Tem Russell Bailey moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 p.m. Seconded by  Councilmember Brady Taylor with each Councilmember  voting AYE motion carried.
